My personal love for fitness and a desire to work with people led me to change my career from marketing and insights to fitness in 2023 – starting with my Barre certification, gym instructing, Personal Training Level 3 and now Pilates Level 3.
I train clients of all ages and fitness levels, each with varying goals – so I fully understand that what works well for one client won’t necessarily suit another.
Plus, life is busy… and sticking to rigid, generic exercise or diet plans are very rarely productive or enjoyable. It’s important to me that my clients’ bespoke training plans are challenging yet realistic, built around helping them achieve their specific goals, but also focus on encouraging sustainable lifestyle changes that will help them feel their best self in the long run.
My clients’ goals can range from improving general health and fitness, losing weight, building confidence and self-esteem, improving their strength, or building a better relationship with their body and food. The list goes on.
Whatever your goals are, I aim to make the Personal Training experience as enjoyable as possible for you so that you’re more likely to make a sustainable change.
I currently offer 1-2-1 Personal Training sessions, duo sessions or small group sessions.
Please contact me to arrange a taster session if you are interested in getting started!
Having recently developed a new-found love for all things Pilates, I’m excited to be offering group mat classes and private sessions – suitable for all fitness levels and abilities.
Pilates is all about strength and mobility, working the full body, with a particular focus on building core strength. It’s not just about toning your stomach…
Better core strength helps you to:
Although modifications are provided throughout all classes, if you have any physical limitations, injuries, postural conditions or other specific circumstances, you may benefit from private Pilates sessions tailored around your needs and your goals.

My absolute favourite form of exercise… barre is a high intensity yet low impact full body workout. The ultimate hybrid between strength and conditioning, Pilates, ballet and yoga. Small precise movements, high repetitions, light resistance and plenty of isometric holds, you’ll work muscles you don’t typically reach during gym workouts, to the point of fatigue.
Expect to feel some shakes and a burn whilst sculpting and toning the whole body. Barre is designed to improve strength endurance, mobility, flexibility and posture.
Modifications and progressions are given throughout all classes so they can be taken at your own pace. These classes are suitable for all fitness levels including beginners.
As well regular group classes I offer private 1-2-1 or small group sessions in the gym studio or a venue of your choice.
Please get in touch if you’d like to come and try a class!
“I love Holly’s classes! Being a complete beginner to barre it has opened my eyes to a new form of training, which I actually love. It is also a style of exercise I never knew I needed!
I was humbled from the first class, which Holly delivered and explained perfectly. I can feel how it has improved my posture and my core, even by just doing a few classes a month.
I look forward to every class and thoroughly enjoy every one!

“Holly’s barre classes challenge your strength and balance. You certainly feel the burn! Holly is very attentive and the classes are straightforward to follow with alternative moves for all levels. Be prepared for your legs to hate you – although you will enjoy it!

“I’ve been going to Holly’s barre class for about 3 months now and it’s the perfect addition to my usual strength training routine. I really enjoy how the movements are so simple but burn so much, and I’ve definitely started seeing results from it!
Holly makes each class fun, chooses great music, and encourages everyone. She also demonstrates both beginner and advanced moves so everyone can work at their level.
I’m really glad that I started Holly’s barre classes, especially because not many places in Newcastle do it. I’m also really excited to try her Pilates class next!Victoria Crowther
