6.     Strength and longevity. Recently studies have shown one of the most important things to do to live a long, happy and pain free life is to do strength training to maintain muscle mass. Muscle mass reduces as we get older. Leaving us weaker to do everyday tasks like walking. By strength training we maintain and improve the strength we have to live a long, independent life.
